The ASEA/AFSCME Local 52 State Executive Board will convene September 7-8, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. for a quarterly session in Fairbanks. Date/time subject to change. REMINDER: As per the August 29, 2010 Notice of Nominations, the ASEA/AFSCME Local 52 Juneau Chapter will hold its annual officer elections on Wednesday, September 1, 2010. Members in good standing may cast their ballots between the hours of 7:00-9:00 a.m., Noon-1:00 p.m. and 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Local 959 Teamsters Hall at 306 Willoughby Avenue (next to downtown Bullwinkles). Candidate campaign statements will be made available for viewing by the Chapter Election Committee. Please bring photo identification to verify member in good standing status. Exercise your right to vote on September 1.

Monday, September 6th The Parade begins at Noon in the Noel Wien Library parking lot and ends at the entrance to Pioneer Park (Alaskaland). Join your union! Walk in the Parade. Trophy to Union with most participation. The picnic begins at 1:00 p.m. at Pioneer Park back pavilions.
