ASEA/AFSCME Local 52 has begun scheduling meetings statewide to explain and discuss the tentative employee contract for 2004-2007.

All ASEA members are encouraged to attend either chapter or worksite meetings to read about the tentative agreement and discuss the terms with contract negotiators, State Executive Board members, health plan trustees, and union staff.

An election to ratify the tentative agreement will take place Aug. 19. Mail-in ballots must be returned by Aug. 19 in order to be counted. All ASEA members are encouraged to learn about the tentative contract before voting in the ratification election.
