A new Business Agent position in the Anchorage headquarters has been filled by AFSCME organizer George Zuke.

Mr. Zuke has accepted the position and will begin work on January 5, 2004. George has worked for more than 13 years as an AFSCME Organizer and Field Representative.

He will be leaving his position as Organizer for AFSCME Iowa Council 61, a post he has held since 2001. His past duties have included internal and external organizing, grievance handling, member & staff training, and GOTV campaigns.

"There were three highly qualified finalists and I think Mr. Zuke will become a valuable addition to ASEA," said Business Manager Jim Duncan.
