The ASEA/AFSCME Local 52 Health Benefits Trust will be conducting Open Enrollment from May 9, 2006 to June 13, 2006. Open Enrollment packets will be mailed to all GGU members on Monday, May 8, 2006.
It is necessary for you to enroll during the Open Enrollment period. Your plan elections for the 2005-2006 Plan Year do not caryy over into the 2006-2007 Plan Year. If you would like to enroll in Plan B, C, or D or wold like to participate in the Health Care Reimbursement Account (HCRA) for the 2006-2007 Plan Year beginning July 1, 2006, you must enroll during Open Enrollment. This includes new employees who recently enrolled for the remainder of the 2005-2006 Plan Year.
If you do not enroll again during Open Enrollment you will default to Plan A, the full family plan, and will not be able to elect HCRA even if you had HCRA during the 2005-2006 Plan Year. You may use your state computer to complete the enrollment process.
