Adminsitrative Assistant I Position Filled Print E-mail

The vacant Administrative Assistant I position in the Anchorage headquarters has been filled by Karen Hamilton. She begins work on September 5, 2006.

From 1997 to 2005 Karen worked as the Member Benefits Director with the American Federation of Teachers/Texas Federation of Teachers in Austin, Texas. Previous to that she was Government Program Sales Manager with AETNA, US Health Care, and Account Executive/Collector with Texas Mortgage Credit.

"Karen has served as the chairperson/member of the Committee of Texas Representatives (CTR), a staff union." said Business Manager Jim Duncan. "She has taken numerous courses in labor education from the George Meany Center and I know Karen will be a valuable addition to the ASEA staff."
