ASEA/AFSCME Local 52 members have been included in layoffs at the Alaska Division of Employment Security Division. The union believes the action is counterproductive and unnecessary.

ASEA/AFSCME Local 52 Business Manager Jim Duncan has written to Alaska Division of Personnel Director Diane Kiesel to request reconsideration of the layoffs in the Employment Security Division.
