Dear GGU Member:

As you are aware the market based study for nurse’s salaries has resulted in a 2 range, 15% increase, in salary for nurses. I have been informed that there is information being circulated that the increase is effective September 1, 2006. That information is incorrect.

As I stated in a previous e-mail to you and I have confirmed today with the Director of Personnel, the 15% increase is retroactive to July 1, 2006.

According to the Division of Personnel the increase of 15% and the amount retroactive to July 1, 2006 will appear in the following pay periods:

• Current employees will see the range change in pay checks for pay period ending 9/15/06
• All adjustments will be included in pay checks for pay period ending 9/30/06
• All terminated employees will have adjustments sent to them by 10/15/06
