The ASEA Contract Negotiating Committee rejected the wage and health contribution proposals submitted by the state on March 8.

The state's wage offer does not keep up with inflation, causing GGU members to lose buying power during the term of the contract. The state's proposed employer health contributions also shifts expenses to GGU members.
