Ketchikan Student wins AFSCME Family Scholarship Print E-mail

Aimee McClory, daughter of Ketchikan Chapter member Emily McClory, is one of thirteen recipients of the 2007 AFSCME Family Scholarship.

Aimee's academic record and three-page essay earned a $2,000 award from the AFSCME Family Scholarship judges. Local 52 congratulates Ms. McClory on her hard work and special recognition. Read her essay using the link below.

Each year the AFSCME Family Scholarship Program provides at least 13 scholarships of $2,000 to high school seniors scholarships that will be renewed for $2,000 each year for a maximum of four years, provided the student remains enrolled in a full-time course of study. The scholarship may be used for any field of study.
