The ASEA Election Committee has issued its report on the 2007-2010 GGU Contract Ratification Election. The contract was ratified with 1,965 votes in favor and 1,380 votes opposed.

Although this concludes negotiations between the union and the state, monetary terms of the contract are subject to approval by the State Legislature during the next legislative session. Upon approval by the legislature, the monetary terms will be retroactive to July 1, 2007.
