Duncan Seeks Meeting with State over Service Steps Print E-mail

In a letter to Commissioner Kreitzer on March 7, Business Manager Jim Duncan requests that the state meet with ASEA/AFSCME Local 52 to amend the GGU 2007-2010 collective bargaining agreement to include service step provisions that are contained in HB 417 and SB 297, which were introduced on March 3.

ASEA/AFSCME Local 52 negotiators made a proposal for such service steps during negotiations, but the state rejected the proposal.
