A complete list of candidates in the election of delegates to the AFSCME 38th International Convention (San Francisco, Jul. 27-Aug. 1) is provided below. For information regarding the ASEA Election process, please refer to ASEA Policies and Procedures 22.00.000.

The top eight vote-getters will become non-officer delegates to the 38th International Convention; all other candidates will be ranked alternates according to their vote totals.

Based on the preliminary allocation by AFSCME International, Local 52 will be allocated 8 non-officer delegates. This number will be verified by May 15, 2008. If Local 52 gains delegates the alternates with the highest number of votes will be awarded the delegate positions.

April 18, 2008—Ballots mailed to members.

May 22, 2008—This is the ELECTION DATE (Ballots Counted). Ballots MUST BE RECEIVED BY 8:30 a.m. on this date. Only ballots returned through the U.S. Mail will be counted. Counting will commence following receipt of the ballots by the Election Committee.
