Duncan Renews Call for Meeting over Contract Print E-mail

In a letter to Commissioner Kreitzer on April 24, Business Manager Jim Duncan renews his request that the state meet with ASEA/AFSCME Local 52 to amend the GGU 2007-2010 collective bargaining agreement to include service step provisions extended to non-represented state employees under HB 417.

ASEA/AFSCME Local 52 negotiators made a proposal for such service steps during negotiations, but the state rejected the proposal.
