GGU members in salary schedule steps K,L and M will receive a 3.75% salary increase under a Letter of Agreement between ASEA and the State of Alaska.

The 3.75% increase will be retroactive to January 1, 2009. GGU members eligible for the increase will see a change on their March 26, 2009 paycheck. An retroactive adjustment to January 1, 2009 for eligible employees will be processed as soon as possible.

Dear ASEA Member;

You are receiving this e-mail because our records indicate you are currently in service step K, L, or M in the salary schedule contained in the General Government Unit (GGU) Collective Bargaining Agreement with the State of Alaska.

I previously informed you that on June 2, 2008 I entered into a Letter of Agreement with the State of Alaska providing that effective January 1, 2009 an employee who has served 2 years in service step K, L, or M will receive a 3.75% salary increase. Every 2 years thereafter, an employee will be eligible for a 3.75% increase for the duration of their employment in the GGU.

The State has informed me that the 3.75% increase for the March 1 to 15 pay period will be included on the March 26th payroll. The retroactive payment for the period of January 1 through February 28, 2009 will be processed by the State as soon as possible.
