New ASEA Business Agent in Fairbanks Print E-mail

ASEA/AFSCME Local 52 is pleased to announce the selection of a new business agent to fill a vacancy in the Fairbanks office.

Bette Watts, a former state employee, will be replacing Carrie Ann Gilmore as one of two ASEA business agents working from Fairbanks.

Bette is a longtime Fairbanks resident whose work history spans 20 years with Dept. of Labor and Workforce Development, including nine years as a Wage and Hour Investigator.

As a GGU member, she was a union steward and active in the Midnight Sun Chapter.

"We're fortunate to have such qualified candidates as Bette Watts to fill this position," said Business Manager Jim Duncan. "Please join us in welcoming her to the ASEA staff."
