Both the State Executive Board and the Contract Negotiating Committee believe the state's proposals are unfair and regressive. They recommend that you vote YES on the Strike Authorization Ballot.
A Fair Contract Contains: - Fair wages
- Fair health benefits
- Fair working conditions
- Fair treatment of members & their union
The State’s Unfair Contract Offer Is: - No step increase in the first year of the contract
- 0% wage increase in the first year of the contract
- 2% wage increase in years two and three of the contract
- No specific dollar offer on employer’s health insurance contributions
- No guarantee of two consecutive days off
- Reduce steward’s ability to help members
- Reduce your union’s ability to help members
Both the State Executive Board and the Contract Negotiating Committee believe the state's proposals are unfair and regressive. They both recommend that you vote YES on the Strike Authorization Ballot. You Decide! Is this a contract offer you are willing to accept from the governor’s negotiating team? A YES vote gives your CNC the support it needs to get a fair agreement at the bargaining table. Remember… All members (agency fee payers, too) will be counted whether or not each one actually votes. If you do not vote in the strike authorization election, your vote will automatically count against the strike authorization.
