1.The CNC met with the State negotiators on March 10 and 11 in Juneau.

2. We did not sign any additional tentative agreements (TAs), but we did discuss internally and with the State the seven monetary articles that will be taken to mediation. These are Articles 19 (Health and Security), Article 21 (Wages), Article 22 (Overtime and Premium Pay), Article 24 (Holidays), Articles 25 & 26 (Annual, Sick, and Personal Leave), and Article 30 (Travel, Per Diem and Moving).

3. Mediation is scheduled on March 22 and 23 in Anchorage. The federal mediator will attempt to find common ground on the above articles and bring the two parties together in an attempt to reach an agreement. We will update you on the results of the mediation.

4. We appreciate your support, please continue to stay involved.

Membership involvement and support is vital to successful contract
negotiations and your Contract Negotiating Committee (CNC) is available
