Dear GGU members:
On April 4, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was
assassinated. Dr. King was a true leader in the struggle human rights
and human dignity.
On April 4th, 2011 labor unions, civil rights organizations,
religious leaders, and the general public will stand together across the
nation and in Alaska in “We Are One Solidarity Events” supporting the
same human rights and human dignity for working men and women.
“We Are One Solidarity Events” will be held in the following
communities in Alaska. I urge you to attend the event in your community
to show your support for the working men and women in Alaska.
Anchorage
