Union members may request leave donations from fellow employees for use as sick leave. Both annual and personal leave can be donated to ASEA members in need. The recipient may only use donated leave after his/her accrued sick, annual, and personal leave has been exhausted. Unused donated leave cannot be returned to donors. As with all leave, approval and use of donated leave is at the employer's discretion.
To donate, submit a completed leave slip to the Division of Personnel & Labor Relation Payroll Supervisor for the department in which the donee (recipient) is employed. Please read the procedure above for complete details.
