Annual and personal leave can be donated to ASEA members for use as sick leave. The recipient may only use donated leave after his/her accrued sick, annual or personal leave has been exhausted. Unused donated leave cannot be returned to donors. As with all leave, approval and use of donated leave is at the employer's discretion.

To donate leave, complete a leave slip in your name that clearly indicates the name and Social Security Number (SSN) of the person receiving the donation. Leave donations can be mailed or faxed to the Anchorage ASEA Headquarters using the contact information below:

Leave donations can also be delivered to ASEA offices in Fairbanks and Juneau. Before donating your leave, please read the following message for important detailed information and instructions:

Note: leave donation slips must be received in the Anchorage, Fairbanks or Juneau union offices no later than two (2) days prior to the end of a pay period to be credited.

Names will be removed from the Donated Leave Requests after need expires or otherwise requested.
