Dear Bush Region ASEA Members:

The ASEA State Executive Board is soliciting statements of interest from members who wish to be considered to fill the Bush Region Primary negotiator and Alternate negotiator positions on the Contract Negotiating Committee. The Bush Region consists of all ASEA/AFSCME Local 52 members who are in areas that are on not on a road system and not in the Northern, Central, Southeast, or Rural Region. Bush is defined in Appendix A, Section 3.L. of the ASEA Constitution.

The Bush Region vacancy on the Contract Negotiating Committee is being filled in accordance with Article 12.02 E of the ASEA Constitution which states that “an announcement of vacancy will be sent to all members of the affected region, chapter, or class asking for names of members interested in filling the position”. The ASEA State Executive Board will then appoint from the names submitted.

To be eligible for appointment to the Bush Region Contract Negotiating Committee position, an individual must be a member in good standing with the Union and work in the Bush Region.
