The State of Alaska has announced that GGU employees in all departments will be requested to schedule furlough hours according to provisions of the State GGU 2016-2019 Contract and subsequent letters of agreement (LOAs).
The effective furlough provisions provide some lattitude in their appplication and may affect individual employees differently. The following documents and information will address many questions regarding the furlough procedure, effect, and limitations.
