Dear ASEA Member,

Thank you for writing, emailing and calling the Governor, your Representatives and Senators. Your grassroots effort paid off. Today, Governor Dunleavy announced he would resume the Alaska Senior Benefits Payment Program with payments at the same level as last year. The Governor said he changed his mind on his veto after getting feedback from Alaskans like you. 

This is a positive step. It shows that through organizing, action and solidarity, ASEA members and Alaskans can change minds. Thank you for a successful campaign to protect the benefits due our Alaska seniors and preserve those services they rely on.
