SCHEDULE FOR the AFSCME CONVENTION DELEGATE ELECTION – CRITICAL DATES

• April 18, 2022 ‐ Notice of Nominations mailed to all members in good standing.
• May 3, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. ‐ Deadline for receipt of nomination petition forms, candidate statements and paper ballot requests.
• May 10, 2022 ‐ Ballots distributed to members.
• May 25, 2022 ‐ This is the “Election Date” (ballots counted)

Ballots MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 8:30 a.m. on May 25, 2022. Only electronic ballots cast through Election Runner or returned through the U.S. Mail and received in the U.S. Post Office Box will be counted. All delegates and alternates must adhere to the AFSCME COVID-19 safety protocols described below.

AFSCME CONVENTION COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

All delegates, alternates and guests attending the AFSCME International Convention must adhere to the following COVID safety protocols*:

1. Vaccination or On-Site Testing
---a. If vaccinated, you must provide proof that you are fully vaccinated with two shots of Pfizer or Moderna or one shot of Johnson & Johnson; or 
---b. If unvaccinated, you must provide proof that you have been tested each day at one of the AFSCME testing sites at the Convention Center and received a negative result.
2. Mask Coverings
---You should wear a mask unless eating or drinking in the Convention Center.
3. Daily Health Survey
---Complete a daily symptom survey prior to entering the Convention Center.
