ASEA/AFSCME Local 52 Cook Inlet Chapter is offering three scholarships for the 2014-2015 academic year.

1 - $1000 to a Cook Inlet Member Dependent attending a Vocational/Trade School;
1 - $1000 to a Cook Inlet Member Dependent attending as a full or part time student to a 4 year college; and
1 - $1000 to a Cook Inlet Member attending a Vocational/Trade School or 4 Year College.

Scholarship applications must be received or postmarked by April 30, 2014.  An application and information can be downloaded from:

To apply for one of these scholarships:

1. Submit the completed application form.
2. One letter of reference.
3. High school, College or trade school transcript.
4. SAT and/or ACT scores (if applicable).
5. An original essay outlining previous accomplishments, academic achievement(s), extra-curricular activities, community service, employment history, future plans, education or training sought, post education hopes or ambitions, etc.
