Nominations are now being accepted for ten (10) positions on the ASEA Executive Board, eight (8) positions on the ASEA Judicial Panel, and fourteen (14) positions on the GGU Contract Negotiating Committee.

The election will be conducted by electronic ballot. Members have the option to request a paper ballot to participate in the election. Requests must include your full name, employee ID (EID), and mailing address.

A Notice of Nominations has been mailed to your home address on record and is available online. Please closely review the packet of information as it contains important information regarding eligibility for any of the offices, information for candidates and a calendar of important election related dates.

Please read the complete Notice of Nominations & Elections. Members interested in these positions should submit their nominating petition by mail, email, fax, or hand-delivery to Union Headquarters or any Union Office no later than 12:00 noon on January 22, 2024.

Secretary (3-year term)
Treasurer (3-year term)
Bush Region Representative (3-year term)
Central Region Representative (3-year term)
Municipal Representative (3-year term)
Rural Region Representative (3-year term)
Southeast Region Representative (3-year term)
Clerical/Technical Representative (3-year term)
Class I Representative (remainder of term ending March 2025)
Northern Region Representative (remainder of term ending March 2025)

Judicial Panel positions open for nominations:
Anchorage seats (3-year term)
Fairbanks seats (3-year term)
Rural/Bush seats (remainder of term ending March 2025)
Juneau seats (remainder of term ending March 2025)

GGU Contract Negotiating Committee positions open for nominations:
One negotiator and one alternate will be elected from each of the following regions or designation: Central Region, Northern Region, Southeast Region, Bush Region, Rural Region, Seasonal, and Class One (excluding Seasonal).
